How to Trust God During Financial Hardship

What the Bible says

1. Scripture

   I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

   The psalmist reflects on God's long-term faithfulness and care.

2. Scripture

   Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have.

   Contentment protects the heart from panic and endless comparison.

3. Scripture

   Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap... yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.

   Jesus points to creation itself as evidence of God's care.

A grounded way to understand this

Trusting God during hardship does not mean ignoring reality. It means refusing to let fear become greater than faith in God's provision and guidance.
