How to Hear God’s Direction
Hearing God’s direction is less about waiting for a dramatic inner voice and more about learning how God guides His people: through His Word, prayerful dependence, wise counsel, obedient next steps, and the slow confirmation of providence. (4) Examine motives—fear, pride, greed, and people-pleasing distort “peace.” (5) Take the next faithful step you can take with integrity, then watch fruit over time. God’s direction rarely cancels ordinary wisdom. Counting the cost, keeping vows, providing for your household, and fleeing sin are part of hearing Him.
